Our story
It all began with my own healing journey after experiencing mineral depletion. Mood swings, brain fog, hormonal acne, anxiety, melasma — my body was giving me sign after sign that it needed support, but at the time, I had no idea.
I was told these symptoms were “normal,” especially after being on the pill, and that medication was basically my only option. I was also diagnosed with IBS and told to take medication and Metamucil. For me, that answer just wasn’t enough.
So I started digging deeper.
I began trying to heal through food, but for a while, I was symptom-chasing — cutting out one thing after another: dairy-free, gluten-free, lectin-free. Did I feel better? Absolutely. But I still wasn’t fully listening to what my body was trying to communicate.
The more I researched, the more I learned how food, stress, minerals, hormones, and gut health — even “healthy” choices — can impact inflammation on a cellular level.
Now, I’m in a new season — postpartum after three pregnancies, while our family learns to recognize and carry grief as we move through life without our son, Dominic, who passed away from Trisomy 13. At the same time, I’m learning how to manage stress and cortisol while raising two young kids, working full-time, supporting students as a reading specialist, and growing my health coaching business. I wear many hats, including running my Etsy shop, CharlieRoandAngelCo, in honor of Dominic. I’m spread thin — and I know I’m not alone in that.
Brain fog from nursing and mineral depletion is what pushed me even deeper into understanding postpartum health. It’s what led me to start creating resources for moms who feel completely exhausted, overwhelmed, and at their wit’s end — because there has to be better answers than “your labs look normal.”
In so many cases, these symptoms trace back to deeper imbalances — especially in the gut — that are often overlooked.
I’ve learned to channel that constant, busy mind into something meaningful — creating, learning, and building tools that help other women feel more supported in their healing.
Because the truth is — your mental and physical health set the tone for your entire household.

With so many ideas constantly flowing — because truthfully, my brain never really shuts off — I found myself wanting to channel that creativity into something meaningful. Something that could truly help other families not just eat better, but fully nourish and support their bodies the way we were designed to.
I kept coming back to the foundation of the home — the kitchen, and the spaces where your babies spend most of their time.
That’s where it all started.
From there, I began offering Pantry Makeover Sessions and Wellness Walkthroughs as a way to help families reduce their overall toxic burden in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and not overwhelming.
And I also understand that not everyone is in a season for 1:1 support — which is why I’ve created guides you can use at your own pace. Resources that allow you to make intentional changes when and how it fits into your life.
Because this journey isn’t about perfection — it’s about creating a home and lifestyle that supports you, little by little.
